Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
وَمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَمَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللَّهِ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلاَّ نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَحَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ
Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near him.

Course Overview
The weekend madrasa program at Masjed Assaber offers comprehensive Islamic education for boys ages 7-18. Our structured curriculum runs from October 5th, 2024 to March 1st, 2025, with classes held every Saturday & Sunday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Beginner
- Week 1: Introduction to course, basic Arabic letters and Islamic Principles
- Week 2: Arabic alphabet continuation, basic reading skills
- Week 3: Introduction to Hadith and basic duas
- Week 4: Combining Arabic reading with Islamic principles
- Week 5: Introducing short verses of the Quran
- Week 6: Testing progress in reading and Salah
Course Syllabus - Intermediate
- Week 1: Basic Tajweed, Matn Al-Jazariyya intro + Usool Thalatha & prayer basics.
- Week 2: Pronunciation mastery + first principle of Usool Thalatha & Kitab At-Tawheed intro.
- Week 3: Noon Sakinah rules + second principle & Islamic history fundamentals.
- Week 4: Meem Sakinah & third principle + worship practice sessions.
- Week 5: Advanced Tajweed + deeper Kitab At-Tawheed & etiquettes.
- Week 6: Comprehensive assessment of recitation, principles & practices.
Course Syllabus - Advanced
- Week 1: Hifth program launch + advanced Tajweed & Tafsir foundations.
- Week 2: New memorization + Aqeedah concepts & Fiqh basics.
- Week 3: Expanded Hifth with Tafsir + advanced jurisprudence & Hadith.
- Week 4: Memorization evaluation + complex topics & research.
- Week 5: Advanced Quran portions + high-level Tafsir & Fiqh studies.
- Week 6: Complete evaluation of memorization & Islamic sciences.
